3-Hour Ethical Trek
TREK ITINERARY

Your guide will pick you up at your guesthouse at your preferred time. You will walk along the river, then go uphill, passing through rubber plantations on the way to the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park.
Once inside the jungle, you may have the chance to spot semi-wild Sumatran orangutans. Many of them are accustomed to seeing humans, especially on short treks. You will have time to observe them swinging through the trees and caring for their young—a truly unforgettable sight!


After enjoying a tropical fruit snack, continue trekking through the jungle, where you may spot Long-tailed Macaques, Pig-tailed Macaques, and Thomas Leaf Monkeys.
End your trek with a fun and refreshing tubing ride along the Bohorok River, returning to Bukit Lawang. Your guide will escort you back to your guesthouse.
